FINISH |
|
This is the condition in which the product is
delivered to the customer. There are 2 main finishes with many variations of
each.
Sand Only: The first is the "sand only" finish. This
is the standard finish you will see on 90% of the boards in the water. This
is the most lightweight and high performance finish.
Price: included
Gloss: The second finish is the "gloss" finish which is
popular for longboards and boards with cloth inlays and/or pigments. This
creates a more durable, longer lasting board, but it will also make the board heavier
and less ripable. Price:

PIGMENTS
& PINSTRIPING |
| |
Pigmenting (tinting):
Colored resin used with the fiberglass to produce a colored board. This
is the traditional alternative to an airbrush, giving the board a crafted look
Price Range: $25 per
side
Pen Lines:
Pen lines are used to outline a sprayed design, cloth inlay, pigmented rail
wrap (shown above), or as a design in itself. They can be done using resin for a
more traditional look, or they can be sprayed directly onto the foam using paint.
Price Range: using
paint $10+ , using resin: $15+
